The Story
Portfellow was founded by friends Marko Oolo & Taavi Ilves in 2024. For over 10 years, Marko managed his portfolio using a self-made Excel sheet, while Taavi built a custom solution based on an accounting program.
However, neither solution scaled effectively and required significant time to maintain. When they explored existing software options, they found they all had limitations that didn't meet their needs. That's why they decided to combine their 20+ years of experience to create the portfolio management tool they always wanted to use.
Within the first six months, over 400 investors started using Portfellow — proof that they weren't the only ones facing the challenge of finding a truly effective portfolio management solution.
