    Forecasts, Dividends and Shareable Cards

The past couple of months have been some of our busiest yet. We've been sharpening the reports you rely on, widening dividend coverage, smoothing out imports and making the whole app noticeably faster. A few things that were in beta are now open to everyone, and we've added a couple of brand-new toys along the way.

    Here are the biggest updates.

    📊 Better forecasts and performance

    Portfolio performance report

Forecasting got a serious upgrade. The performance report now includes Monte Carlo forecasting — instead of a single line into the future, you get a range of possible outcomes with confidence bands, and you can adjust the contribution assumptions behind them. It's a more honest way to picture where your portfolio might land, because the future is a spread of possibilities, not a straight line. (As always — forecasts are not predictions.)

Year in Numbers and the net worth forecast have both left beta and are now visible to everyone, along with the exposure editor. We also cleaned up the details that matter: volatility in the performance report is now properly annualized, the dashboard tooltip names the actual return method it's using, and the allocation chart tooltips now show the right percentages and amounts for your net/gross view.

    đź’¸ Dividends and income

    Future cash flow

Dividend data now comes from Yahoo and Nasdaq Baltic, not just EODHD. In practice that means substantially better coverage for Baltic and non-US instruments — far fewer holdings sitting there with missing income.

On top of that, we reworked how income is configured: a cleaner income mode, a simple three-state control on dividend-capable holdings, and a dividend tax rate you can set without having to build a manual schedule. The future cashflow report now has date-basis and gross/net toggles plus a dividend detail view.

And the big one: dividend forecasts are rolling out now. Your future cashflow report will project upcoming dividends automatically, with badges showing which amounts are confirmed and which are still predicted. Your income calendar just got a lot more useful.

    đź”— Accounts and connections

    Accounts

We redesigned the account connections screen — it now has proper quota management, a clear connections table and a short "how it works" primer, so it's obvious what's connected and what each connection costs you.

You can also now move positions between broker accounts with the new Transfer transaction type — no more awkward sell-and-rebuy to reflect a transfer. Loans are grouped by account the same way investments are, GoCardless bank agreements now expire with a grace period instead of quietly going stale, and there's a new AI opt-out in account settings for anyone who wants it.

    📣 Share your portfolio

    Share your progress

New this month: share cards. A Share button on your dashboard lets you generate clean, theme-aware cards — milestones, top movers and portfolio highlights — ready to drop into a post or send to a friend. Charts export with a subtle watermark and match your theme, so they look like you. Your numbers, only what you choose to show.

    📥 Smarter imports

The new import flow and import review are now generally available for everyone, along with mapping rules. The headline addition is long-tail CSV support: if your broker export isn't one we officially support, Portfellow now tries to discover the column mapping automatically, so more files just work.

You can also create split transactions directly in the import review grid, and every staged row now carries a full audit trail of where it came from — handy when you're reconciling a messy import.
