Hey đź‘‹
The last month at Portfellow has been one of those periods where a lot of things quietly clicked into place. Some updates are very visible, others work in the background — but all of them are about the same goal: helping you understand your money better, with less effort.
Here’s what we’ve been working on.
🔌 Imports are improved (and work better)
A lot of our effort lately went into something you might not immediately notice — making imports more reliable and less annoying.
Banks & brokers: major improvements to LHV, Lightyear, Swedbank, and Interactive Brokers imports
Smart enrichment: a new automatic service cleans up transactions and improves data quality
CSV & file imports: polished file selection and column-mapping for manual uploads
If you import via CSV, you’ll also notice that file uploads and column matching are now much smoother.
The goal here is simple: less manual fixing, more trust in the numbers.
📊 Reports & analytics

We’ve been refining how Portfellow calculates performance — because details matter when real money is involved.
Advanced return calculations: improved XIRR and time-weighted returns
New reporting views: updated portfolio return reports, future cashflow projections, and transaction reports
Loan tracking: new services and views for managing liabilities alongside assets
See your full financial picture – not just investments.
🤖 A quick word about AI

You may have noticed some early signs of an “Assistant” inside Portfellow.
We’re laying the foundation for smarter portfolio insights. Our goal is very practical:
help you ask better questions about your portfolio
point out things you might miss
There’s more coming here, but we want to get it right.
✨ Making Portfellow easier to use

We also spent time on the everyday experience:
Revamped onboarding flow: easier setup for pension, P2P, and brokerage accounts
Changelog & suggestions: stay connected with ongoing development
UI improvements: cleaner graphics, better navigation, and a new command-palette style shortcut for power users
